We believe in Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived in the perfect will of God, was crucified on the cross that we could be redeemed from sin, was raised from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God the Father in heaven. He is our intercessor in all His power and glory and will return for His redeemed church and to judge the world. The Holy Bible is the foundation of our faith, upon which the church is constituted and upon which the Church may be built. The Bible prescribes the full measure of our duties to our Lord, to His Church, to the world and to each other; by its precepts shall the walk and conduct of the member of this Church be judged and determined. Thus, it becomes not only the foundation of our faith, but also the guide for all our practices. The government of this Church is vested in the body of believers who compose it, and we subscribe to the doctrinal statement of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.

Each Thursday night at 6:30pm "The Bridge" meets together at Pastor Bryant and Madeline's home located at 800 W Fort Scott St in Butler. This is a group for young adults in the community who are interested in studying scripture together, fellowshipping with other young adults, and praying. Come check out The Bridge!
Bryant was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in New Jersey, and later moved to Tennessee, where he spent most of his life. It was during his high school years in Tennessee that he experienced a life-changing encounter with the Lord, which led him to pursue a calling in ministry.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in theological studies from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and his Master’s degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, honing his skills in biblical teaching and church leadership.
Bryant has served in various pastoral roles, including Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Youth Minister, which have deepened his passion for serving God’s people and sharing the Gospel. His diverse ministry experiences have shaped his holistic approach to church life, from shepherding congregations to mentoring young believers.
Bryant and his wife, Madeline, are actively involved in ministry and came to us from Memphis, Tennessee. They share their home with their two dogs, Hershey and Brother. Committed to growing in their walk with the Lord, they focus on building lasting relationships and fostering a spirit of love and service with their new church family.
