Bryant was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in New Jersey, and later moved to Tennessee, where he spent most of his life. It was during his high school years in Tennessee that he experienced a life-changing encounter with the Lord, which led him to pursue a calling in ministry.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in theological studies from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and his Master’s degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, honing his skills in biblical teaching and church leadership.
Bryant has served in various pastoral roles, including Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Youth Minister, which have deepened his passion for serving God’s people and sharing the Gospel. His diverse ministry experiences have shaped his holistic approach to church life, from shepherding congregations to mentoring young believers.
Bryant and his wife, Madeline, are actively involved in ministry and came to us from Memphis, Tennessee. They share their home with their two dogs, Hershey and Brother. Committed to growing in their walk with the Lord, they focus on building lasting relationships and fostering a spirit of love and service with their new church family.

Darrison was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. It was as a child that he was saved and began to pursue the Lord. He was called to the ministry in his early teenage years as the result of a life-altering experience with Jesus at church camp. In May of 2022, Darrison graduated from Baptist Bible College (now Mission University) with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pastoral Studies and Bible. He has been actively involved in various kinds of ministry for over 10 years.
Previously, he was on staff at Baptist Temple in Springfield, MO as the Youth Pastor/Worship Ministry Director. He also served on staff at The Crossing Church as the Worship Pastor. And now he is blessed to be called to serve here at IBC as the Associate Pastor of Next Gen Ministry and Worship since June of 2026. Darrison and his wife, Eden, were married in July 2025 and have been serving the Lord together through the church since. They are passionate about helping students realize the love that God has for them and seeing them grow in their walk with Christ.
Favorite Verse: “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to
all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
- 1 Timothy 4:12
